Obituary
Ivy Eugene Davis born January 12, 1935 to Cecil S Davis and Eva A. Davis in East Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior November 26, 2019. Gene entered the Navy on December 12th, 1952. After his tour of active duty, Gene moved to Indiana where he met his wife, Nila Montague. They were married on November 10, 1956, and moved to Texas in 1961. Together they raised three daughters. Gene was employed by Stratoflex for over 30 years. When his wife Nila retired from her job, they traveled the country visiting all 50 states, Canada, and Mexico. Gene loved God and Faithfully served his church in various capacities. He is preceded in death by his father Cecil S Davis and his mother Eva A. Davis, one brother Cecil Jr. and one sister Mary Helen. He is survived by his wife Nila, three brothers: Rev. D.D. Davis, Rev. Jim Davis, and Jonathan Davis, three daughters: Robin Casey and husband Mike of Neosho, Missouri Kerri Jeanne Johnson and husband Ronald of Crowley, Texas and Diana Wolff and husband Paul of Camden, New York; Five grandchildren: Christina Pfaffengut and husband Ryan, Rhonda Hall and husband Mahlon, Brittainy Mullins and husband Jason, Aaron Jones and wife Melissa and Stephanie Woods and husband Kevin. Eleven great-grandchildren and numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.

We will miss Bro. Gene dearly. He was truly a man of God.He kept the faith and lived a faithful life to his Lord and Savior . We love you Nila we are praying that the comfort of the Holy Spirit will surround you inside and out and hold you close to lead you each and every day ahead of you. So know that many of prayers and love is coming your way. Love and prayers for the family members also.
