I remember Joe and his family when they came to Keller Springs Baptist Church, always enjoyed the conversations we had together, to this day I remember some wisdom he shared with me after service one day. praying for the family.

II never had the pleasure to ever meet my uncle but from my understanding through my aunt Anna he was a very loving and caring man I regret not ever meeting him may he rest in peace and I am deeply deeply sorry at the loss I will keep you all in my prayers may God continue to wrap his loving arms around you and give you strength in guidance you need through these difficult times

To Carolyn & Kelvin Citizen, I met Sergeant Major Ervin J. Citizen in 1986, While serving as Sergeant Major Installation Support White Sands Missile Range NM. As soon as we met we became instant friends. I came to know Joe as a gentile man who loved God, his family and proudly served his country. Many people were fond of Joe due to his enormous heart and caring spirit. Carolyn & Kelvin, on Sep. 13 2021 My Dear Friend went home to be with the Lord. I will always continue to love and cherish all the great memories of my great Friend Ervin Joseph Citizen and look forward to meeting him again some great day.
