I was so saddened to hear about Nick. He walked into my office a year ago smiling…and each and every time I saw him…he was smiling. He will be missed by all the residents in our community – who will remember his relationship with his children the most. Prayers for his family.

Work just isn’t the same without you buddy. We all miss you and you crazy sayings and the early morning “I had a dream” song. Not a day went by you didn’t talk about your kids and how much you loved them. I’m gonna miss the crazy voicemails you’d leave on my phone and talking about whatever crazy stuff we’d come up with and I’m gonna miss showing you all the new hats I’d buy….I’m glad you got to be a part of my life buddy…God bless you and your family

I have no where to start but from the beginning … You have always been my little brother from day I met you 25 years ago .. Till the day you left this earth .. I will miss all the times we watched sports together and played video games. I will miss all the holidays and times we spent as a family. I will miss your kids running around the house with mine. I will miss our friendship the most because there will never be another friend like you in my lifetime. I will never forget you and I will cherish our times we had together forever.
God rest your soul and bless your family.

I would like to extend my condolences to Nicks family. Nick was a WONDERFUL person and loving father that could cheer you up even on your saddest day. I met him at Little Caesars pizza and I will always remember our Long conversations about football and family. It was an honor to have met such a great man with a huge heart! Rest in the Lord and we will see you soon.

“For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. Therefore encourage one another with these words.”

There’s not a single day goes by that I don’t think and miss Nick. We lost a major member of our wolf pack. Nick would always talk about his kids, he loved them so much. Him and I would always quote parts of the movie Office Space. Nick you were a great father and Coworker, we will all miss you

With a heavy heart, but with so much love I send my condolences to Nicks family and friends. Nick was a shining star, and loved by so many. Nick and I shared so many laughs, mostly created by his great sense of humor. He use to tease me because he once heard me use the word “bonkers” – he loved to call or text from time to time with comments where he could fit the word into our conversation, it always got me going. So, here’s to you Nick, I’m going bonkers missing you, and I hope you’re going bonkers in heaven. Rest in peace my friend xo Dawn

NICK you have been apart of my life since birth and I will always cherish the bond we had from my childhood to my adulthood. We had some kind of special connection over the last 3 years and I’ll always keep that in my heart and remember all the good times we had together while we all lived in a big house and those crazy imes we had just the 2 of us. Im sad to say goodbye with so many things left unsaid. You will be greatly missed by the HERLEHY family. Love ya uncle Nick. REST IN PEACE

"Nothing prepares you for the grief you go through when losing a child. I called this funeral home at 2:00 am broken and could barely talk. The amount of compassion and empathy they showed me immediately let me know I found the right place to cremate my son. I cannot thank them enough for their professionalism, SINCERE concern, and commitment to making sure my son was honored in the most respectful way. I hope this Funeral home values her as much as my family and I do."

"I can’t say enough about how helpful and professional Dusty Martin, the funeral director at the Aria Cremation location on NW Highway has been. From my initial call, he was kind and informative. My friend died at home while on hospice and she was picked up in about an hour after receiving the call from the hospice nurse. The person who arrived to pick her up was also very professional/respectful and allowed us to take as much time with her as we wished. When I met with Dusty the next day about arrangements, he explained the process and options available without being pushy or trying to “sell” extras. Throughout the process, he kept me informed and, for example, was careful to be certain I understood the cost of the obituary I wanted and offered some options for reducing that cost if I wished. When I stopped by for another reason and started talking about some of the problems I was having with the pictures and media I hoped to use at a memorial lunch I was planning, he not only listened patiently but offered technology advice and let me use his personal media player. I have had experience arranging cremations for four others using two other local companies, and this experience with Dusty at Aria has been by far the best one I have had."

"My Daddy’s service and our family experience at Aria Northwest Highway was truly blessed. Funeral Director Dustin Martin is the kind of person that you would like to see on a more regular basis – but in his industry – you hope to not see him that often. That being said – THANK YOU DUSTIN for your unending kindness, compassion and friendship through the process. Meeting you and discussing Dallas History, Find A Grave and my Dad’s lifelong contributions to the great City of Dallas was simply wonderful! In memory of my dad James A. Dodd, Sr. – I want to personally thank you and let you know that you made everything better in that moment. Your calling to “Be There” is spot on. Aria has a one in a million guy in you! Bling Blinky of TEXAS Shout Out: God Bless You!!"
