You are gone from my sight, but not from my heart and mind. You gave me many gifts. Among the most valued are our two beautiful supportive daughters, Roxanne and Sanddrick. They will help me navigate life through this difficult time. The girls and grandkids will remind me that you are still here. Also the gift I will forever cherish, is the beautiful smile on your face at your death. It is this smile that tells me I did everything right. I have forty- six years of memories from which I can draw strength to keep going on. You were a good husband to me, a loving father to the girls, and a doting grandfather to the grandkids. You were always there for me as I was for you. Alfred I know you’re still here; you haven’t left us behind.
Love Always,
Esther
I will never forget Alfred’s kindness. May God give him eternal rest and the family the strength to bear the great pain.
Today would have been your 74th birthday. I want to honor you on this special day. You were my best friend, my buddy, and the most reliable man in my life. I miss you more than words. Losing you has been like no other pain I have ever experienced, but I rest well knowing you are in a better place. You taught me how to be ambitious, grateful, and humble. You have inspired me to achieve goals that I thought were insurmountable. You are forever in my heart, with me always. I love you dad.
