Obituary
Danny K. Allen passed away peacefully in Dallas on February 2, 2021. Danny was born in Ft. Worth, Texas, on October 11, 1947, the son of Virgil and Clifogene Allen. He grew up in Denton, Texas, graduating from Denton High School in 1966, and what is now the University of North Texas in 1970. Danny married Marilyn Griffin on January 2, 1972. They moved to Sydney Australia where Danny taught school for 2 years before traveling the world on the way home to Texas. Upon return he began social work for the State of Texas, and retired as an Adult Probation Officer for Dallas County. Danny was preceded in death by his parents, a brother J.R. Allen, and sister Virgene Tilley. He is survived by his wife Marilyn Allen, sister Carole Wills, mother-in-law Lynelle McConnell, and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be sent to the Dallas Area Parkinsons Society or the charity of your choice.
