Campbell, John Christopher "Jack"
Obituary
John Christopher Campbell, known to many that loved him as “Jack”, passed away on July 20, 2021, after a brief illness. Jack was born in Dallas, Texas on July 10th, 1997. Jack’s enthusiastic joy for life and unconditional love will be most missed by his parents, Chuck and Angela Campbell of Dallas, and his sister and brother-in-law, Amanda and Colt Sample of Austin. Jack was also a grandson, nephew and cousin who always made his family members feel like they were individually his favorite. He brought smiles to their faces with his inside jokes and clever nicknames. The people that will deeply feel the loss of his beautiful light stretches far beyond family. Jack was most proud of his service as a cadet sergeant in the Junior ROTC Marine Unit at W.T. White High school. He loved his country and the comradery of his unit and worked tirelessly to fulfill his duties. Jack’s death will leave an empty space in all that knew him. But we will not wish that space away. Rather we will fill it with joyful memories of time spent with him. The family will hold a Celebration of life well lived on September 10, 2021. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Special Olympics Texas

We all loved Jack. I especially loved His laugh and the twinkle in his eye. He was a great guy and will miss him dearly.
My heart is very heavy today learning of the passing of Jack. He was an inspiration and role model to the Corps of Cadets at WT White HS. His enthusiasm and pride were infectious and he was loved be all the cadets. I will never forget him dancing at the Marine Corps Ball in his dress blues. I still have his picture in my office. From all of the MCJROTC instructors and cadets, our deepest sympathy and love. We have lost a brother but he will never be forgotten.

We were so sad to hear about Jackson. I know my dad was in heaven with a great big salute when he entered the gates. So sad for your enormous loss. Prayers for you all!
I was a job coach for Jack through Achieve (Citizens Development Center) and loved working with him and his family. He was such a happy spirit and a joy to work with. He was so patriotic and wanted a job in the military or law enforcement so he could serve his country. He will be missed.
I just learned of Jack’s passing today and have no words to express my shock and sadness. He was such a joy to know and work with over the years. My prayers are with the entire Campbell family.
