Obituary
Carole Jane Ward, 74, died at home on October 21, 2022.
She was born July 13, 1948 in Texarkana, AR. After graduating from Texas High School in Texarkana, she received an undergraduate degree at the University of Alabama and then a Master’s Degree in Social Work at the University of Texas-Arlington. During her career as a Social Worker, Carole worked in both private practice and hospital settings.
Carole was active in the First Presbyterian Church-Dallas and had served as an Elder.
Survivors include two sisters, Kathy Ward (Celina, TX) and Lucy Wineman (Highland Village, TX); nieces Susan Gore White (Prosper, TX) and Callie Wineman and Matt Newton (Flower Mound, TX); nephew Kyle Everett and Taylar Wineman (Krum, TX); great nephews Trevor White, Ghirin Newton, Nolan Newton and Evan Newton; great niece Brynne White. Carole was preceded in death by her parents, James and Helen Ward.
A celebration of Carole’s life will be held at a later date at First Presbyterian Church-Dallas.
