Condolences Laura to you and your family. Such a great life he lived. I know he will be missed.
I’m amazed at all the things my Uncle Don accomplished in his life time. He definitely came from an amazing era, the things that he saw and experienced were like no other. He will be missed by all but happy to know he’s with part of his loved ones again.
So sorry to all who loved Don Zimmers.
His love of music and family showed. I will always remain friends with your wonderful children. There are no words for relieving the pain of losing your Father, or friend.
Long hugs and lots of love.

My Condolences to the Zimmers family.
The family was always lovely to me when their daughter Sherri and I were kids in San Antonio.
I have only very fond memories of the family and am sorry to know that Forrest has passed away.
I found this obituary as the result of trying to track Sherri down and hope someone seeing this will let her know.
She can find me in Houston or I’ll check back here to see if she adds a message so we can exchange contact information.
