Obituary
Donna Reba (McCullough-Turner) Barnard, 75, of Grand Prairie, Texas passed away on January 28, 2023, at home surrounded by her family.
Donna was born on June 19, 1947 in Albany, New York, the daughter of the late Robert and Eleanor McCullough. Donna attended and graduated from Albany High School and started her career working for the NYS Department of Education. After realizing that she did not want to be confined to a desk and computer, she chose to pursue a career in retail sales, specializing in custom-made men’s suits and custom Draperies while employed at Sears in Colonie, NY. She retired from Sears after 23 years of service.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Turner Jr., her daughter Kimberly Foulks and her sister Cora (Sissy) Armstrong.
Donna is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Terrell and Donnie Wilson of Grand Prairie, Texas; grandchildren, Darius Jarvis, Azmier Hooten, Khalid Conner, Kaden Conner, and a bonus grandson Eric Dixon Jr., all of Texas. Great-grandchildren A’zhiana Hooten, Amayah Conner, Dior Jarvis and a bonus great-grandson, Zaylen Carr, all of Texas. Her sister, Teri-ann McCullough of Ohio. Nieces, Stacey Medley-Troeger (David), Salisa Lewis Brandon, Shamel Turner, Marlene Palmer all of NY. Nephews, Kevin Lewis of Gastonia, NC, Gerald Lewis of Florida, Jamal McCullough, Robert Turner, and Barry Brooks all of NY. Four sisters-in-law, Shirley Martin, Loretta Turner, Valerie Turner, and Maryann Turner all of NY. Donna also leaves behind her beloved dog, Maryjane of 16 years to cherish her memory as well as a host of cousins, great nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
The family would like to express thanks to Alevcare Hospice and staff of Mansfield and Good Samaritan Home Healthcare of Irving for helping us get through this difficult time.

I’m going to miss talking to you and Mary Jane we were always close sisters even though you were my in-laws we were like sisters we did a lot of things together especially the time the Ohio Players made you leave my hospital room, we were inseparable always together. You were a second mother to my son we did so many things together and I’m happy for that. You will always be in my heart and on my mind but it will be nothing but joy because you are now with family again and that’s what we are all about family sleep in peace Sister because joy comes in the morning.
