Obituary
Elizabeth Shultz Woodhouse, 95, of Plano, Texas passed away on February 25, 2022. She was born on February 11, 1927, to Paul and Florence Shultz in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She grew up in Hershey and after high school she went on to earn her master’s degree in education. She married her husband Samuel Woodhouse on June 21, 1958, in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The Woodhouse family moved to Dallas, Texas in 1968. Betty loved her family, learning, and traveling. She spent her life enjoying golfing and traveling with Sam. She was involved in the Canyon Creek Women’s Golf Association, Garden Club, Republican Women’s Club, and served many years with the Alter Society at the Church of the Holy Communion. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Woodhouse; son, Paul Woodhouse; and her grandson, Thomas Moczygemba. She is survived by children Eugene Woodhouse and Jane Moczygemba (Larry), grandchildren Daniel Moczygemba and Emily Woodhouse, and great-grandchildren Adelyn Moczygemba, Hailey Moczygemba, Andrew Moczygemba, and Samuel Hughes. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Aria Cremation Service and Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at The Church of the Holy Communion located at 17405 Muirfield Drive, Dallas, TX 75287 on Mon., March 21st at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Church of the Holy Communion https://www.holycommuniondallas.org/ and the SPCA https://www.aspca.org/.
