Obituary

Harold Jose Bueno-Teran, age 62, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 26, 2022 at his daughter’s home in Dallas, Texas.  He was born on October 23, 1959 in Boston, Massachusetts to Julio Cesar Bueno Moreno and Flora Yolanda Teran Lucero de Moreno.

He lived life to the fullest, always flowing with the beat of whatever song was playing at the time.  Harold was the life of every party he walked into. He had a charismatic and outgoing personality, and was happiest sitting at the beach with a drink in hand while listening to reggae music. He enjoyed cooking, and had a natural talent for creating some amazing meals.

He is survived by his three kids, Gabriela Alejandra, Fernando Miguel, and Maria Fernanda; his grandson Adrian Jose; his five siblings, Suglen, Julio, Hajsky, Zulenka, and Haiskel; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He gave his life to Christ and was baptized. He loved and trusted in the Lord until his last breath.  He will be deeply missed by this family, friends, and all who knew him.

A celebration of life is scheduled for 12:30 pm on October 8, 2022 at Aria Funeral Home at 19310 Preston Road Dallas, TX 75252

Harold José Bueno-Terán, de 62 años, falleció pacíficamente el lunes 26 de septiembre de 2022 en la casa de su hija en Dallas, Texas. Nació el 23 de Octubre de 1959 en Boston, Massachusetts, hijo de Julio César Bueno Moreno y Flora Yolanda Terán Lucero de Moreno.

Vivió la vida al máximo, siempre fluyendo con el ritmo de cualquier canción que sonará en ese momento. Harold era el alma de todas las fiestas. Tenía una personalidad carismática y extrovertida, y era más feliz sentado en la playa con una bebida en la mano mientras escuchaba música reggae. Le gustaba cocinar y tenía un talento natural para crear comidas increíbles.

Lo sobreviven sus tres hijos, Gabriela Alejandra, Fernando Miguel y María Fernanda; su nieto Adrián José; sus cinco hermanos, Suglen, Julio, Hajsky, Zulenka y Haiskel; y muchas sobrinas, sobrinos y primos.

Dio su vida a Cristo y fue bautizado. Amó y confió en el Señor hasta su último aliento. Será profundamente extrañado por toda su familia, amistades, y todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo.

Una celebración de su vida está programada para el 8 de Octubre de 2022 a las 12:30 p.m. en Aria Funeral Home en 19310 Preston Road Dallas, TX 75252

"I can’t say enough about how helpful and professional Dusty Martin, the funeral director at the Aria Cremation location on NW Highway has been. From my initial call, he was kind and informative. My friend died at home while on hospice and she was picked up in about an hour after receiving the call from the hospice nurse. The person who arrived to pick her up was also very professional/respectful and allowed us to take as much time with her as we wished. When I met with Dusty the next day about arrangements, he explained the process and options available without being pushy or trying to “sell” extras. Throughout the process, he kept me informed and, for example, was careful to be certain I understood the cost of the obituary I wanted and offered some options for reducing that cost if I wished. When I stopped by for another reason and started talking about some of the problems I was having with the pictures and media I hoped to use at a memorial lunch I was planning, he not only listened patiently but offered technology advice and let me use his personal media player. I have had experience arranging cremations for four others using two other local companies, and this experience with Dusty at Aria has been by far the best one I have had."
