Macioch, Robert “Bob”
Obituary
Grapevine – Robert “Bob” Stanley Macioch passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at 80
years young.
Celebration of Life: 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 4, 2021 at the Elks Lodge 2483 located at
909 Bushong Road in Grapevine. Interment will take place at the Dallas-Fort Worth National
Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Bob to
the Elks National Foundation (ENF – www.elks.org/enf/supportENF.cfm).
Bob was born in Erie, Pennsylvania on October 31, 1941. Bob was a radiotelephone operator for
the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam. After proudly serving his country, Bob took his
immense aptitude for engineering and went to work for Time Warner Cable (TWC) starting out
as a teleprompter in 1970. Bob rose through the ranks at TWC, which later became Broadband
Specialists, Inc., until he retired as Vice President of Engineering.
Known for his quick wit, sharp mind, great sense of humor, and caring nature, Bob was loved by
all that knew him. An avid golfer for much of his adult life, Bob was not your typical scratch
golfer. Bob played semi-professionally and could be found at the Grapevine Golf Course 3-4
times a week until his health deemed otherwise. Bob fought valiantly through multiple health
issues during the last few years of his life and is now pain free and golfing the greens of Heaven.
Bob was a loving and devoted husband; caring and dedicated father, grandfather, brother, uncle,
and friend. His laughter echoes in our hearts and minds. Bob will be missed more than words can
possibly express.
