Obituary

Michael Andrew Michell was born on November 4, 2021 and crossed over the rainbow bridge on January 16, 2022. He was a very special little boy and in the short time he was here on earth he touched many lives. Our baby boy was one in a billion, not just by our standards, but to the medical community he was as well. He loved listening to his daddy sing Mama I‘m coming home by Ozzy Osbourne to him, and mommy sing The Riddle song to him. He would follow you with his eyes looking and watching everything you did. Michael was a joy to have and hold and loved by all who knew him. We are all devastated and heartbroken we had to say goodbye, but we knew it was the best thing we could have done. We know we will see him again someday. He leaves behind, his Parents, Steven and Emma Mitchell, Grandparents, Lee Cheatham, Robert and Debbie Anderson and Ken Mitchell. Great grandparents, Bruce and Becky Carr, Tommy Martin and Terry McCoy. Aunts and Uncles, Heather Harjo and Justin Davis, Jennifer Martin, Sharon Tanner, Natalie Willyard and David and Teresa Cheatham. Cousins Cody Mitchell, James Phillips Jr. (JJ) and a host of other family and friends. He is preceded in death by, his grandmother Ruth Cheatham, great grandparents Butch and Debbie Sewell and Uncle Randall Sewell Jr.

I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet beautiful son. Their is no amount of time that is to long or short a parent could spend with their child. My heart goes out to you during this very difficult time. Sweet Michael will always be in our hearts.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your precious son. The loss of a child is the greatest, most deepest anguish a person can experience in their lives. Many think the child was taken because God needed another angel but the Bible says God is love (1 John 4:16) so would a God that not only has and gives us love but even more so is love take an innocent baby or child knowing the suffering the parents and family would go through? Of course not. Would God who created everything including angels take a child because he “needed” the child? No. Even before humans were on earth God had already created in heaven angels so would he “need” one? Never. Where then are our loved ones that have passed away and is death the ending for each one? In the Bible there are a number of examples of people including children that had passed away and Jesus resurrected while here on earth. He did that as an example of what is to come very soon.
Psalm 37:29 promises, The righteous will possess the earth And they will live forever on it. That is where the greater majority of the resurrected will live as you just read, on earth forever. John 5:28, 29(a) promises to reunite us once again with our loved ones who have passed away temporarily. It reads: Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out….. Who does it say will come out and from where? As you read, it is all those in the memorial tombs that will hear his voice and come out just like Jesus had done and will do again. What does Jehovah God tell us we must do to be present for one of the greatest experiences in our lives in a paradise earth like Adam and Eve had enjoyed until they sinned? Please contact me or any Jehovah’s Witnesses in your area via email or you can go online to JW.org to ask for a free Bible study. Due to COVID the study is given online or by phone to protect everyone. It will be our pleasure to help. Again I am so very sorry for your loss.

"Nothing prepares you for the grief you go through when losing a child. I called this funeral home at 2:00 am broken and could barely talk. The amount of compassion and empathy they showed me immediately let me know I found the right place to cremate my son. I cannot thank them enough for their professionalism, SINCERE concern, and commitment to making sure my son was honored in the most respectful way. I hope this Funeral home values her as much as my family and I do."

"I can’t say enough about how helpful and professional Dusty Martin, the funeral director at the Aria Cremation location on NW Highway has been. From my initial call, he was kind and informative. My friend died at home while on hospice and she was picked up in about an hour after receiving the call from the hospice nurse. The person who arrived to pick her up was also very professional/respectful and allowed us to take as much time with her as we wished. When I met with Dusty the next day about arrangements, he explained the process and options available without being pushy or trying to “sell” extras. Throughout the process, he kept me informed and, for example, was careful to be certain I understood the cost of the obituary I wanted and offered some options for reducing that cost if I wished. When I stopped by for another reason and started talking about some of the problems I was having with the pictures and media I hoped to use at a memorial lunch I was planning, he not only listened patiently but offered technology advice and let me use his personal media player. I have had experience arranging cremations for four others using two other local companies, and this experience with Dusty at Aria has been by far the best one I have had."

"My Daddy’s service and our family experience at Aria Northwest Highway was truly blessed. Funeral Director Dustin Martin is the kind of person that you would like to see on a more regular basis – but in his industry – you hope to not see him that often. That being said – THANK YOU DUSTIN for your unending kindness, compassion and friendship through the process. Meeting you and discussing Dallas History, Find A Grave and my Dad’s lifelong contributions to the great City of Dallas was simply wonderful! In memory of my dad James A. Dodd, Sr. – I want to personally thank you and let you know that you made everything better in that moment. Your calling to “Be There” is spot on. Aria has a one in a million guy in you! Bling Blinky of TEXAS Shout Out: God Bless You!!"
