Nina Belle Ford
Obituary
Nina Belle Richardson Ford went to be with her heavenly father on Monday, November 7, 2022. She was born on July 25, 1927 in Oklahoma City, the youngest of three children to Ollie and Ivan Richardson. Nina graduated from Classen High School in 1945 and attended Oklahoma City University. In 1955 she married, Doyle Ford and they shared a lifelong love of collecting Asian antiques. Nina was an active and devoted member of Church of the Servant and a member of P.E.O., serving as president of her chapter. She loved her family, her church and her friends and enjoyed playing bridge and decorating her beautiful home. Nina was a very stylish lady and known for her stunning white hair and silver rimmed glasses. She became a great grandmother to Amyra in February and was especially looking forward to meeting her in December.
Nina was preceded in death by her parents, brother Ivan Richardson, sister Valeria Garrison and her beloved husband, Doyle. She is survived by two children, Gary Ford and his wife Susan of Fredericksburg, TX and Kristin Downs and her husband Chad of Dallas, TX, 3 grandchildren, Stuart Ford and his wife Harleen Kaur of Seattle, WA, Martin Ford of The Woodlands, TX and Jordan Downs of NYC, and great granddaughter Amyra Ford. She is also survived by her niece Victoria Jones and her partner R. Bruce Elliott of Dallas, TX and nephews Don Garrison and his wife Nancy Neuman of Los Angeles, CA and Phil Smith and his wife Sherri of Yukon, OK.
Thanks to all the care-givers and physical therapists that helped her in the last few years. Nina will be missed terribly and we were very lucky to have had her in our lives for as long as we did. Services will be held at a later date. Contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.

Such wonderful memories of Nina from growing up on NW 75th St in OKC and such laughter & love. May your sweet memories carry you thru the hard days. Nancy Johnson Craig & family.
Rejoice in Heaven sweet Nina! As a kid on Franklin Street, I thought you were so elegant. You were always so kind to me! Invited me to sleepovers when it was sweltering hot…so I could sleep in air conditioning! I never forgot!💔❤️🥰
I met Nina and Doyle when their son, Gary married my niece, Susan. I thought Nina was a lovely, kind person. Later I met her again at P.E.O. Conventions as we were both President of our Chapter.
