I did not know Sally well as I only worked with her for about 3 years, but I’ve enjoyed learning about all her talents and gifts from those who did know her well. I think about her frequently as I enjoy some of her cross stitch pieces. I’m just amazed by her wonderful talent and the number of pieces that she completed.
Sorry to hear the news. Sally was a “Gravity” girl who grew up only 3 houses up on our street. Sally attended school in Gravity until school district reorganization went into effect in 1959-60 with Gravity, Conway, Blockton, & Bedford forming the new Bedford Community School District. Our lives in Gravity were rich beyond compare. Sally and my younger sister, Jeanne, were in the same grade in school. Both had the incredible Mrs. John for kindergarten and first grade as did all of us in Gravity at the time. Sally’s older sister, Susan, was closer in age to me. Her dad ran a gas station in Gravity as well as being our fuel oil supplier. Her mom had many talents! They also hosted an AFS student when Sally was still at Bedford HS, or so I remember as I was away at college at the time. Best wishes to her family!
Sally was a great co-worker when I was at Sanmina. Balie was her love! We shared notes on Balie and my grand dog Oscar, a dachshund. She loved her family.
Mary, I’m so sorry for your loss!
You will be in our thoughts and prayers after losing someone so special! Our deepest sympathy! Larry and Nanci Thompson Tribolet
I will miss Sally a great deal. I knew she loved baseball and when I walked by her desk we would talk about baseball and a light would just light up in her face. I worked with Sally for many years and she helped me many times. Thoughts and prayers are with the family.
