Obituary

Sharon Ann Cullinan Wieczorek; Wife, Mother, Grandma and Great Grandmother; went to meet the Lord in the early morning of May 15, 2022.  Sharon entered this world on August 28, 1944, in Greenbelt Maryland as Sharon Ann Cullinan. She attended DuVal High School and worked at PEPCO Power Company. In 1967, Sharon married Kenneth Wieczorek; and to their union they had 3 children, Andreanna, Michael, and Emily.  On March 11, 2022, Sharon and Ken celebrated their 55 Wedding Anniversary. Those left to cherish her memory include her beloved husband, Kenneth; children, Andreanna (Price), Michael and Emily; sisters, Eileen Hagerhorst and Laura Brooks; seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  Sharon valued her family, but above all, her greatest joy was her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 6-8pm at Aria Funeral Home.  A Mass of Christian Funeral Service will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church (720 S Floyd Rd, Richardson, TX 75080) on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at 11:00am with burial to immediately follow at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.  A reception for family and friends will be held following the graveside service at the church.

“My sweet Sharon, how can I express how much I love you; no words are adequate to let you know the Love that is in my heart for you. Your smile, laugh, the twinkle in your eyes when you were excited about an accomplishment, and the many ways you teased me. I loved seeing the happiness you felt when hearing about the accomplishments of our kids and grandchildren.  How you lovingly worked so hard to make sure every holiday, birthday, special family occasion was the best it could be. You brought so much sunshine to everyone you touched. How we would laugh when you told me that the amount of blarney that I spoke when I would complement you, made me an honorary Irishman. I miss you so much and wish I could have had more time to let you know the depth of my love for you.”

Until We Meet Again.
Your loving husband, friend and Soulmate.
Ken

I miss your smile and the all the strength and wisdom you shared with me, my beautiful Mother…We always had the best conversations and I will miss our four hour phone calls.. you always uplifted me..I remember when you would fix my hair with Dippity Doo for ballet recitals at your vanity and always made me feel like a princess..Girl Scouts, Campfire Girls.. so many things Mom.. you would always take care of me when I was sick and bring me the little t.v. to watch Reading Rainbow and stroke my hair until I would fall asleep..I would follow you around in Dillards and hide in the clothes, and you pretended you didn’t know where I was, and poke your head in the clothes and we would laugh and have an Orange Julius at Richardson Square Mall.. taking me to Contempo Casual to spend my very first paycheck on a Marilyn Monroe skirt.. I could go on forever about all the little special things you would do Mom. I’ll never get over loosing you, but I know we will be together in God’s House and it will be the most joyous of joyous reunions Mom..until we are together again, sweet dreams my beautiful angelical mommy..I know you are finally free of the pain you have been enduring for so long and sitting next to Jesus, watching over our entire family with that stellar, sparkly smile of yours.. I miss and love you terribly Mom..

My darling “big” sister. You always lived your life fiercely and with absolute faith in God. Mom and Dad were so proud of your accomplishments, character, and devotion and you set a high bar for me early on.
I remember your joyous laughter, your impeccable taste in fashion, and your love.
Celebrate your precious reunion with our parents, Michael, and Bob -and all the Cullinan’s of Heaven! Eileen and I are waiting our turn and take comfort knowing how happy you all must be together. Love, Laura

Oh Sharon, my adorable little cousin. Finally you are at peace and certainly not suffering. I can still see your smile and empathy you always exuded throughout life. I cannot think of anything but joy whenever I think of you. As your babysitter from so long ago, you were like a prize to me. My little doll baby. I so admired you. And then you grew up.
But once we connected as adults, it was the same. We laughed as we sat in the Nieman Marcus restaurant for lunch and pretended we were rich. Then we shopped for shoes, of course. My visits to Dallas were special because of you. My heart goes out to your kind and loving husband Ken. I know he brought you much happiness along with a family to carry on your compassionate legacy. Rest In Peace my sweet. I love you, Rita OBrien Brittingham

Time, there’s a couple things known about it. First things first there’s never enough of it. Time passes fast even if we don’t realize it. If you aren’t paying attention you could miss quite a bit of it. Time can also help you learn, and grow. It teaches you lessons and values. And depending on what you do with it? You could make something absolutely beautiful in the time you’ve got. With the time that my amazing grandmother Sharon had? She made sure to make a beautiful family with some of the best children on the planet with my grandfather Ken. One of those children being my mother Emily who brought me into such a blessed situation. My grandma always made sure when we talked to let me know to use my time wisely. She made sure to let me know I was very loved and always brought a smile to my face every single conversation. She made sure her time was dedicated to love for her family and that is something that throughout the rest of my time I will never let go of. It was an absolute blessing to call this woman my grandmother. And the time I got to have with her? Will forever stay still in my mind. Thank you so much for everything that you’ve done, and for all you’ve provided in your beautiful life. You’ll always be in our hearts. Your loving grandson- Ty❤️

My dear Sharon, you live in my heart and in happy memories of the times we spent together. You were the sister I never had. When miles separated us, our phone time was so special that I would smile as I went about the rest of my day, recalling our conversation. My brother, Ken sure picked a winner. As my time on this planet winds down, I look forward to seeing you in heaven.

    Love always,

    Lou Ann

"Nothing prepares you for the grief you go through when losing a child. I called this funeral home at 2:00 am broken and could barely talk. The amount of compassion and empathy they showed me immediately let me know I found the right place to cremate my son. I cannot thank them enough for their professionalism, SINCERE concern, and commitment to making sure my son was honored in the most respectful way. I hope this Funeral home values her as much as my family and I do."

"I can’t say enough about how helpful and professional Dusty Martin, the funeral director at the Aria Cremation location on NW Highway has been. From my initial call, he was kind and informative. My friend died at home while on hospice and she was picked up in about an hour after receiving the call from the hospice nurse. The person who arrived to pick her up was also very professional/respectful and allowed us to take as much time with her as we wished. When I met with Dusty the next day about arrangements, he explained the process and options available without being pushy or trying to “sell” extras. Throughout the process, he kept me informed and, for example, was careful to be certain I understood the cost of the obituary I wanted and offered some options for reducing that cost if I wished. When I stopped by for another reason and started talking about some of the problems I was having with the pictures and media I hoped to use at a memorial lunch I was planning, he not only listened patiently but offered technology advice and let me use his personal media player. I have had experience arranging cremations for four others using two other local companies, and this experience with Dusty at Aria has been by far the best one I have had."

"My Daddy’s service and our family experience at Aria Northwest Highway was truly blessed. Funeral Director Dustin Martin is the kind of person that you would like to see on a more regular basis – but in his industry – you hope to not see him that often. That being said – THANK YOU DUSTIN for your unending kindness, compassion and friendship through the process. Meeting you and discussing Dallas History, Find A Grave and my Dad’s lifelong contributions to the great City of Dallas was simply wonderful! In memory of my dad James A. Dodd, Sr. – I want to personally thank you and let you know that you made everything better in that moment. Your calling to “Be There” is spot on. Aria has a one in a million guy in you! Bling Blinky of TEXAS Shout Out: God Bless You!!"
