Obituary
Tamra Jade Lindsey of Fort Worth, Texas passed away devastatingly on January 28th. She was 28 years young. Tejay, as we loved to call her, was born on August 5th, 1993, in Olathe, Kansas to Buckie Munoz and Galen Lindsey. She graduated from Manhattan High school in 2014. She met Steven Almond that same year and moved to Texas soon after. Tejay became a mother in 2016 to a beautiful baby girl Jaycee Christine, and then again in 2019 to a baby boy Jaylen Maurice, and finally her youngest in 2021, Jayvion Carter. Tejay devoted her life to her children and her family showering them with endless amounts of love and support. Her jovial spirit was unmatched. Tejay never met a stranger. She welcomed everyone she met with open arms and a loving heart. Her family and friends meant the world to her. Tamra is survived in death by the father of her children Steven Almond, their three children, Jaycee (6), Jaylen (2), and Jayvion (5 months). Her parents Buckie and Galen of Overland Park KS, her sister Natasha from Irving TX, brothers Galen Jr of Wichita KS, Cameron and Melissa of Rogers AR, Maurice of Overland Park KS, Garrick of Irving TX, Darnell and Rachel of Edgerton KS, Joseph of Overland Park KS, Jeramey of Shawnee KS, Derrick of Lenexa KS. With an abundance of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A colossal cavity exists within our hearts. You are loved. You are missed. You are remembered. We love you. There are no words to describe my grief at the loss of such a beautiful and amazing heart. Although we didn’t see one another all of the time, I cherish every moment I was blessed to spend with you, your wonderful sister Tasha, also like a sister to me and those wonderful children. I have been blessed to meet such admirable people. May comfort, peace, and love cover the grieving family.
My heart goes out to my family and friends who are devastated by this tragedy. Tejay will be dearly missed. Love.
Tamra…. You had such a beautiful spirit. Although we never got a chance to meet in person, we always interacted on social media. I enjoyed watching you throughout the years with Steve and the kids. I loved your energy, and ur goofiness with Jaycee. I heart broke when I heard the news of you being gone. I still can’t believe it. But your beauty will continue to shine brightly in your children. May the lord wrap his love and grace around your family. Watch over them as they grow. My prayers and deepest sympathies go to the entire family. May you Rest In Peace
