Windell Warren Wood
Obituary
Windell was born in New Florence, Missouri on August 6, 1963. He loved to play in the water hose and from a small age would work hard to loosen the handle so he could run around the yard squirting everyone with the hose. He found it so funny! It was quite an ordeal to get him broken of that habit. He loved baseball cards and riding his bike when he was young. As he grew up, he became interested in sports cars and stereos. The faster the car and the bigger the stereo, the more he liked it. He became very familiar and handy working on cars and learned to paint them also so he could make them look the way he wanted them. Windell married Donna and helped take care of her two daughters, Holly and Kasey. They eventually divorced but they stayed friends throughout the remainder of his life. Windell’s health deteriorated and eventually his heart condition was too much. He passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022 exactly 36 years to the day after our dad passed away. He will be missed by family and friends. Windell is preceded in death by his parents, John Lee and Ozella Wood; sister Cheryl McNeil; brothers Dennis Guin and David Wood, sister-in-law Melinda Wood. Those left to cherish his memory include his siblings, Patty and husband Billy Davis, Regina Reynolds and husband Mike Ward, Harold Wood, Chip Wood and wife Lettie, Pat Wood and wife Dana.
